The NFR Open at the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo

ProRodeo World Champions & rising stars from across the U.S. and Canadian Circuits, and Mexico will compete in the shadow of America’s Mountain for over $1 million in payouts. It’s all happening at the NFR Open at the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo, July 11-15, 2023 in Colorado Springs, Colorado!

More than 200 contestants from across the 12 U.S. Circuits (plus Canada and Mexico) will be bringing their talents to scenic and historic Norris Penrose Event Center, competing in Bareback Riding, Breakaway Roping, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Saddle Bronc Riding, Tie-down Roping, Barrel Racing and Bull Riding, culminating with a semifinals and finals on Saturday, July 15 when the national circuit champions will be crowned.

The NFR Open at the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo will take place July 11-15, 2023, with evening performances Tuesday through Saturday, and matinee performances Friday and Saturday. You heard us right—the Tuesday evening and Friday matinee performances are new additions to the lineup to satisfy demand for more performances after last year’s sell outs—so that’s MORE performances, MORE fans, MORE fun and two more chances to get in on the action! Evening performances will start at 7:00 p.m. with matinee performances starting at noon.

Grounds open at 10:00 a.m. for the matinee performances and 4:00 p.m. for the evening performances. Arriving early helps with the crowd arriving at peak times and there is plenty to do before the Rodeo with a wide range of vendors offering food, drinks, apparel and other Western fare, as well as the PPOBR Fan Zone with lots of family-friendly fun, plus some activities for the grown-ups too! After the Rodeo, live music and dancing awaits in the Coors Roadhouse Saloon so plan to stick around.

Tickets are on sale NOW right here at PikesPeakorBust.org and sell-outs are expected! The 2023 NFR Open at the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo is for the true fan, the first timer and everyone in between!
